In 1996 while playing opposite to West Indies, Shahid Afridi used Sachin Tendulkar’s bat. Waqar Younus gave him this bat. And using this bat, Afridi did 11 sixes and six boundaries and scored a 37 ball century against Sri Lanka which was fastest ODI Century. Now this record was broken by AB De Villiers in 31 balls century fastest ODI.
2. Abbas Ali Baig was the First Indian Cricketer to be kissed during a Test match.
In 1960, at Brabourne Stadium, when Abbas Baig reached 50 in a third test match against Australia suddenly a pretty girl ran away from North stand to greet Abbas. She kissed on his cheeks in front of everyone.
3. Vinod Kambli’s test match score is better than his friend Sachin Tendulkar
Vinod Kambli, who is great Indian cricketer and also a best friend of Sachin Tendulkar. He played just 17 test matches and his average is 54.20 while Sachin Played 200 test matches but his average is less than Vinod Kambli that is 53.78.
4. Sunil Gavaskar was out off the first ball of test match thrice in his career.
Sunil Gavaskar was the principal batsman to achieve 10,000 Trials and he finished his profession scoring 34 Test hundreds of years.
